Omar Khayyam

Omar Khayyam (1048–1131) was a Persian polymath celebrated both for his groundbreaking work in mathematics and astronomy and for his enduring legacy as a poet. Noam Chomsky was born on December 7, 1928, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to William and Elsie Chomsky, who were Jewish immigrants from Eastern Europe.
